Algerian Client Visits Shengda Water Meter to Explore Smart Card and STS Prepaid Water Meters
Recently, Shengda Water Meter Co., Ltd. had the pleasure of welcoming a valued client from Algeria to our headquarters and production facilities. The purpose of the visit was to conduct a comprehensive inspection of our prepaid water meter production lines and learn more about our latest smart metering solutions tailored for the African market.
During the visit, our technical and sales teams provided an in-depth introduction to two of our most popular products: the smart card prepaid water meter and the STS prepaid water meter (prepaid water meter with token).
The smart card prepaid water meter is widely used in several African countries for its ease of use, stable performance, and user-friendly management software. By using a smart card, end-users can conveniently recharge their water credit at vending points or utility offices. The meter automatically deducts the balance as water is consumed, and once the balance reaches zero, the water supply is stopped until the card is topped up again. While the Algerian client expressed strong interest in both systems, they showed a particular preference for the smart card type, citing its familiarity among local users and compatibility with their current water management strategy.
